Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Haddad, and his accompanying delegation witnessed the closing activities of the Turkish military maneuvers (EFES2024), in the presence of the military attaché in Turkey,
a number of Turkish military leaders, and a number of defense ministers and chiefs of staff of the countries participating in these maneuvers.
On the sidelines of the “Distinguished Observer Day” activities, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Haddad, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Army, General Metin Gorak. He also held a technical meeting with the Turkish Minister of Defense, Yaşar Guler, where The meeting focused on supporting training and development programs for the Libyan army, and discussing military cooperation between the two countries.
The next day, the Chief of General Staff and his accompanying delegation participated in the program of the second day of maneuvers (EFES2024), in the presence of the Turkish President, Mr. Recep Erdogan, which witnessed military displays (land, sea, and air) from various participating countries.
The participation of the Libyan army forces was distinguished in the tactical exercise (EFES 2024), after the invitation was sent to the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of General Staff, and with instructions from the Chief of General Staff, the Military Operations Authority, and the Training Department, a force formed by the Presidency of the Land and Naval Forces, the Logistics Authority, and the General Staff was prepared. Military medicine, engineering units, and a number of military units from a number of brigades. The results of participation were good, as the mission assigned to our forces was implemented effectively during the maneuver with the participating countries. Thus, the Libyan forces achieved their goal during participation in the tactical exercise (EFES 2024) and training and contact.
