The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General "Mohamed Al-Haddad", visited the Republic of Algeria to discuss developments in the region and to stand on the extent of the development of bilateral cooperation
between the two brotherly countries.
El-Haddad and his accompanying delegation were received at the headquarters of the Algerian National Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General "Al-Sa'eed Shanegriha", the Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defense, the commanders of the forces, the commander of the national gendarmerie, the heads of departments, in the presence of the Libyan ambassador and the Libyan military attache to the Republic of Algeria.
Shangriha stressed that his meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Haddad, is an opportunity to exchange views on the development of the situation in the region, and to stand on the extent of development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation efforts between the two brotherly countries.
He praised the efforts made by the two parties to preserve the historical and bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in this sensitive circumstance that the region is going through, in general.
Shangriha said that our common history and the support of the Libyan people for the Algerian liberation revolution obliges us, as officials in both countries, to work together to resolve crises that affect the security of the region and destabilize it.
For his part, Lieutenant General "Al-Haddad" praised in his speech during the meeting the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, which was reflected in the level of military cooperation between the armies of the two countries on more than one level.
He pointed out that the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly peoples makes it imperative for the officials of the two countries to work together to settle crises that affect the security of the region and destabilize it.
