Rome, Italy
25th – 27th February 2015

Intelligence-Sec is pleased to announce our 2nd annual CBRNe Summit which will be taking place at the Hilton Rome Cavalieri Hotel in Rome, Italy on the 25th – 27th February 2015.

CBRNe threats are a constant threat in today’s world and many nations have now become very efficient with their countermeasures and response times to these threats. However, biological threats are much more difficult to combat and decontaminate, as each biological threat is different. Each infectious disease can spread at a variety of speeds and in different ways. Many Health agencies are developing new decon methods and countermeasures to diseases such as Anthrax, Small Pox, Ebola and Botulism.

Our CBRNe Summit will also discuss how international Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies and Emergency Services can track the threats before they become too hard to contain or too late before the attack is carried out – Threat Intelligence. There are many ways how intelligence agencies can trace CBRNe threats before they occur, such as reviewing open source networks and internet chatter then inform first responders about the threat. As well as discussing threat intelligence of CBRNe threats the conference will touch on medical intelligence such as stockpiling drugs to countermeasure outbreaks of infectious diseases.

On the 27th February 2015 attendees will be able to attend a live demonstration of the Italian Armed Forces CBRNe Capabilities at their Joint NBC Military School in Rieti. This will provide delegates unrivalled access to the impressive site in Rieti where the Italian Ministry of Defence carry out different scenarios of a CBRNe threat.

CBRNe Summit 2015 is officially supported by NATO JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence, NATO EOD Centre of Excellence, OSDIFE, University of Rome and the University of San Marino.
All our partners have provided input into the event agenda allowing you to hear the most up to date topics around CBRNe.
Running alongside our 2 day conference will be a vibrant exhibition where the following companies will be showcasing their CBRNe countermeasure products.
