This marks the fifth consecutive partnership between DIMDEX and MBDA in this biannual event.
DIMDEX 2024 is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, proudly hosted and organised by the Qatar Armed Forces. The eighth edition of the biannual event will take place from 4 to 6 March 2024 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), under the theme of “Igniting the Future of Maritime Security and Beyond.”
The sponsorship ceremony took place at the Ministry of Defence, in the presence of Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces. The agreement was signed by Staff Brigadier (Sea) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari, Chairman of DIMDEX and Toby Broughton, General Manager of MBDA Qatar.
Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces said: “In the pursuit of our strategic objectives, we are steadfastly enhancing Qatar's influential position within the global defence industry.
